ORCA - Ocean Resource and Conservation Association
In 2019 ORCA (Ocean Resource and Conservation Association) sent in a request to the Vero Beach Art Club for volunteers to paint murals for the organization. Myself and five other artists were gathered to collaborate on the project, with Dawn Mill being the Director.
We were each given a type of habitat to paint, with some direction on composition, wildlife, vegetation, water body and landscape, but mostly the design was ours to create. I was given scrub/sandhill/creeks and soon went into researching my subjects.
After much research, a sketch emerged and the following is my finished mural, finalized after much refining and tweaking. Click on it for a full view.
More information about this mural will be forthcoming when time. Watch for it, as there are five more beautifully rendered tropical works of art for you to enjoy!
